Zacuto Sony EVF Recoil Shoulder-mounted rig for Sony PMW-F5 and PMW-F55

The Sony EVF Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes our VCT Universal baseplate, a handgrip and our F5/F55 specific top plate with a wide array of accessory mounting options. It is compatible with the Sony F5 and F55.

This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a Recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. This requires focus, monitoring and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.

Includes:
VCT Universal – this baseplate has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with ¼” 20 and ⅜" 16 screw option), removable, extendable 6.5” iris rods and rows of ¼” 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.
Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel – fully articulating handgrip. Attaches to a single 15mm rod with a Zwivel mount that can be set at multiple different angles for comfort and ease of use.
F5/F55 Top Plate – attaches to your camera frame for infinite mounting options. Provides multiple ¼” 20 and ⅜” 16 mounting screw holes and includes a quick release 15mm Z-Lock port, a single 4.5" female/female rod and Recoil Handle. The rock solid Recoil Handle top grip accepts two coldshoe accessories and has a quick release 15mm rod port.

PLEASE NOTE: This rig requires the addition of a monitor or Zacuto EVF.
