BirdDog PLAY Pro 4K NDI Player

Equipped with a next-generation processor, BirdDog’s PLAY Pro is an advanced 4K NDI player that is more compact and quieter than its predecessor. Play back any video on your NDI network at resolutions up to UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz on an HDMI display.

Housed in a metal chassis, the PLAY Pro converts NDI and NDI/HX3 signals to HDMI 2.0, making it ideal for displaying video feeds from cameras, return feeds, confidence monitors, or live video—even at a distance from the switcher. The RJ45 GbE port supports PoE (Power over Ethernet)—the device's primary power method—enabling single-cable installations. A USB-C port is also available as an alternative power option if PoE is not feasible. By connecting a keyboard and mouse to the two USB-A ports, you can instantly control a remote Mac or PC, enabling remote operations. The PLAY Pro switches between NDI sources instantly, without interruptions (black screens) or delays in stream selection.

Install Anywhere

Use the included VESA/Multi-Mount kit to securely install the PLAY Pro in any environment. The PLAY Pro is rack-mountable and compatible with 100x100 mm and 75x75 mm VESA mounts.

You can install it behind a display, in an AV rack, under a desk, or in any other location to seamlessly integrate it into your workflow.

BirdUI

BirdUI is BirdDog’s browser-based application that provides access to all PLAY Pro functions and settings. Setup is simple, allowing you to get the most out of the hardware.
