Functionality and innovation
All Irix film lenses have very similar dimensions and weight, which allow for quick and easy lens changes without the need to change the rest of your setup. The product is equipped with a Magnetic Mounting System (MMS), which allows you to connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge line up.

Pre-filter thread
The Irix Cine Lens 65mm T1.5 for has a 95mm pre-filter thread and geared Mod 0.8 M rings, ensuring compatibility with most accessories available on the market.

Lightweight and compact design
The Irix Cine Lens 65mm T1.5  meets the requirements of all filmmakers. Its aluminium and magnesium alloy construction and body weigh only 1.2-1.4kg.

Modern optics ensure excellent image quality
Thanks to the perfectly refined optical system, your shots will have low distortions and aberrations. The lens' internal focusing system guarantees incredible sharpness. The 11-blade iris ensures beautiful bokeh and very smooth adjustment between T1.5 and T16.

Irix and gimbals work together
All Irix have a similar weight, which makes swapping on a gimbal very easy. In addition, the focus gears help with wireless follow focus. Its weight of about 1 kg acts as a perfect counterweight for most mirrorless cameras. It has been tested on many gimbals from the most popular brands such as Zhiyun or DJI.

The robust and durable construction of the Irix Cine 65 mm ensures that you can keep working no matter what the weather. The lens is resistant to rain, sand and dust. The engraved markings on the lens are filled with UV-reactive paint, making filming in difficult lighting conditions much easier.

To make use as easy as possible, the Irix Cine 65 mm is compatible with most follow focus systems, matte boxes, stabilisers and accessories available on the market. Moreover, it comes with a detachable lens support base - for stabilisation and reduced strain on the camera mount when using follow focus equipment.
